Dr. Luqian Liu received her Doctor of Optometry degree (OD) from the State University of New York College of Optometry after receiving her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from The College of New Jersey. During her optometric clinical training at East New York Diagnostic and Treatment Center, Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center, and New York University Student Health Center, she developed a keen interest in community health, ocular disease, and contact lenses.
Dr. Liu went on to complete a Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease residency at BronxCare Health System, formerly Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center. There she trained alongside leaders in the fields of retina, cornea, glaucoma, oculoplastics, neuro-ophthalmology, and pediatrics.
Dr. Liu can do exams in English, Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, and Spanish. She is currently a member of the New York State Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and American Board of Optometry.
